Here is my understanding of the FCC beam-mounted lighting.
From the chancel, the beam across the back of the sanctuary has 8 light fixtures.
From left to right:
There is a ganged fader for lights 1, 3, 6, 8 "front wash"
There is a ganged fader for lights 4 & 5. "side spots"
There is a ganged fader for lights 2 & 7. "center spots"
The 5 wash lights mounted on the beam above the chancel point downward and are ganged to the fader "back wash"
Learnings in 2017:
This electrical panel is located off the choir room:
08Aug2017: Replace lamp #1 (wash) (east-most) (575W) with 375W bulb. #HPL375WX/115V Replace lamp #2 (side-spot) (575W) with 375W bulb. Replace lamp #5 (center-spot) with 575W bulb. 18Mar2018: Replace lamps 1, 2, 4 & 5. Sid cleaned contacts in lamp 5. 07May2018: Clean contacts in lamps 2, 4 & 5. 03Dec2018: Replace spotlight bulbs 2, 4 & 5. (lectern side spot & both center spots) Cleaned contacts that tend to corrode. 15Nov2019: Replace bulbs 1, 2 & 5. Use a bit of aluminum foil in the contact cavity. 11Dec2019: Replace bulbs 2 & 6. Use Dremel to scrape contacts. Use a bit of DeOxit spray on Q-tip.
