FCC A/V Main Page
Regarding the A/V capabilties at FCC, here's what we can do:
Sanctuary
- Amplify speakers and lecturers via fixed and wireless microphones
- Play a CD thru the main speakers
- Play a DVD using the speakers, projector and screen
- Display VGA or HDMI computer output (connectors near chancel and sound desk)
- Record audio of services and events
- Provide wireless assisted listening devices for the hearing impaired
- Provide sound in the Founders Rooms
- Provide monitor speakers for performers of special events
- Play music from a portable device with 3.5 mm jack. (iPod, iPhone, Android, etc)
These A/V tasks are usually handled by the A/V team.
Chapel
- Amplify speakers and lecturers via a wireless lavalier microphone (small amount of amplification since feedback is an issue)
- Record audio of a lecture
- Display VGA or HDMI computer output (with sound) (adapters for Mac computers)
- Play music from a portable device with 3.5 mm jack. (iPod, iPhone, Android, etc)
- Amplify speaker or lecturer via a corded micrphone
These A/V tasks are usually handled by the A/V team or the Forum moderators. See Chapel AV Instructions
Library
- Play a DVD via TV
- Display VGA or HDMI computer output via TV
These A/V tasks are usually handled by class leaders - see instructions on the cart.
Projector Cart
- Play a DVD via projector (onto wall or screen)
- Display VGA or HDMI computer output via projector
- Provide audio via two wireless speakers
